Football Game Recap: Hominy vs. Woodland

Hominy had a rough outing against Pawhuska last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything came up roses for Hominy against Woodland on Thursday as the squad secured a 58-22 win. That looming 36-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hominy yet.

The victory bumped Hominy's record up to 6-2. Woodland are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Hominy will square off against Morrison at 7:00 PM next week. Morrison also lit up the scoreboard in their last game, so this could be a high-scoring game. Woodland will take on Barnsdall at home at 7:00 PM next week. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Woodland and three for Barnsdall.
