Baseball Recap: Phoenixville Wins Going Away Against Daniel Boone

Phoenixville barely beat Daniel Boone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Phoenixville blew past Daniel Boone 11-1 on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Phantoms considering their one-run performance the match before.

Phoenixville let Ryan Jacobson and Giovanni Vito run wild. Jacobson scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2, while Vito scored a run while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs Jacobson has posted since back in April of 2024. Chris Mull was another key player, scoring two runs.

The victory got Phoenixville back to even at 1-1. As for Daniel Boone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Phoenixville and Daniel Boone will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Phoenixville will face off against rival Boyertown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Daniel Boone is set to challenge their familiar foe Fleetwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
