Football Recap: Pennington's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pennington was the 35-14 winner over Glencoe when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 34-21 to the Yellowjackets on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 13 points.

Despite the loss, Pennington still got an impressive performance from Eli Butler, who rushed for 47 yards and a pair of scores.

Pennington's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Glencoe, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pennington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-14 win against Ohatchee on the 12th. As for Glencoe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-0 victory against Wellborn on the 12th.
