Volleyball Recap: Veterans' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Veterans entered their tilt with Academy for Classical Education on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Gryphons. That's more bragging rights for the Warhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Rebekah Fletcher paced Veterans' offense, picking up seven kills. Fletcher got some help from Grace Lamontagne and her 13 assists. Jasmine Cyrulinski controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Veterans' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Academy for Classical Education, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4.

Veterans has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Perry on the 16th. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
