York is 9-1 against South Pointe since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will host the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. York will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, York got the win against Dreher by a conclusive 9-1. Considering the Cougars have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Layla Clayton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Natalie Dover was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marisa Reyes, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Dover wasn't the only one making solid contact: York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, South Pointe had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Richland Northeast by a score of 18-15 on Friday. The Stallions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The team relied heavily on Sydney Campbell, who got on base in four of her seven plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Mack, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
York pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for South Pointe, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-11.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. York hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like South Pointe struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
York took their win against South Pointe when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 24-2 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
