Volleyball Recap: Cedar Bluff Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cedar Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Pleasant Valley Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Cedar Bluff was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pleasant Valley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-7, 25-13.

Cedar Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cedar Bluff will square off against Cherokee County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will head out to take on Fyffe at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
