Basketball Recap: Clewiston Takes a Loss

Clewiston lost to Lake Placid back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 48-44 to the Dragons. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clewiston's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lake Placid, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Coming up, Clewiston will take on Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Placid, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Avon Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Red Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.7 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
