While Morrison didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Frontier Mustangs on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Morrison and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Frontier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrison will square off against Tonkawa at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Frontier, they will welcome Copan at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
