Basketball Game Preview: Ridge Red Devil vs. Hunterdon Central Red Devils

The Ridge Red Devil will start their season against the Hunterdon Central Red Devils. Tip off is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hunterdon Central is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Nottingham. Hunterdon Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Nottingham on Monday, sneaking past 63-61. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Ridge, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (16-10), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Ridge took their victory against Hunterdon Central in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 62-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
