Volleyball Recap: Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy was the 2-0 winner over Elkmont when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy actually scored more points across those three sets (49-46), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 6-25, 15-10.

Kalyn Jones paced Lindsay Lane Christian Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Jones got some help from Riley Green and her 25 assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-19. As for Elkmont, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Limestone on the 7th. As for Elkmont, they will welcome Clements at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
