Football Recap: SYLAS STOTTS Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mary Walker

Curlew won the last time they faced Mary Walker and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars took down the Chargers 58-42. The Cougars pushed the score to 58-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Curlew to victory, but perhaps none more so than SYLAS STOTTS, who threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. What's more, STOTTS racked up 154.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Curlew also got help from QUIN DOYEN, who showed off his sure hands for 95 receiving yards.

Curlew didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of DOYEN and LOGAN RINGSTAD. Curlew received some extra help from AUSTIN GUYLL, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Curlew now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mary Walker, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
