Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin came tearing into Wednesday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Cleveland Heights Tigers. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Aiden McCord looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

As for Cleveland Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
