While Trinity has struggled at home with three straight losses , that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Avalynn Johnson. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the East Davidson Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Johnson, who had 12 digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 37 times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-7.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for East Davidson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
