After losing to Giltner the last time they met, Deshler decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dragons put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Deshler not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Giltner between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Jessie Kayser paced Deshler's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kayser got some help from Molley Drohman and her 21 assists. Kayser was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Deshler's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Giltner, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deshler will square off against Red Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Giltner, they will take on Axtell on Tuesday.
