Crete and Norris are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Cardinals will head out to square off against the Titans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Norris took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Crete, who comes in off a win.

Crete took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Seward.

Meanwhile, Norris fell victim to Elkhorn and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Antlers. The loss continues a trend for Norris in their meetings with Elkhorn: they've now lost five in a row.

Norris was without their leading scorer, Hayden Nielson, in Thursday's game. With Nielson sidelined, Brandon Guiterrez got his first action of the season.

Norris now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Crete, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything went Crete's way against Norris in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Crete made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
