Bothell (Wash.) star and Cal commit pulls off arguably the most impressive play of the year.
It may have taken until December, but the front-runner for the high school football play of the year has arrived.
In the closing seconds of the third quarter of the Washington Class 4A title game,
Bothell (Bothell, Wash.) quarterback
Ross Bowers scrambled to his left toward the end zone.
The Cal commit went airborne at the 1-yard line, and soared across the goal line.
A Chiawana defender hit Bowers in the air, but somehow, Bowers flipped forward and, most impressively, landed on his feet.
The touchdown stretched Bothell's lead to 24-7, helping to secure a Class 4A state title.
