Basketball Recap: South Vermillion Wildcats vs. Parke Heritage Wolves

South Vermillion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 38th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Parke Heritage Wolves, falling 64-5. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-7 back in November of 2024.

Addilee Dawn Jenkins was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards for Parke Heritage. The dominant performance gave Dawn Jenkins a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Lila Busenbark, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 14 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

South Vermillion's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Parke Heritage, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
