It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Simeon had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They breezed past the Comer Catamounts to the tune of 83-26. The Wolverines' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Janiya Pillow had a dynamite game for Simeon, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten steals. Pillow is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 21 games she's played. Gabby Howard was another key player, going 6-for-13 to rack up 13 points and three steals.

Simeon was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.5 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.2.

Despite the loss, Comer still got an impressive performance from Ra'Quima Wilson, who posted 13 points. That was a full 50% of Comer's points, marking the fourth time in a row Wilson has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Simeon now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Comer, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Simeon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-34 victory against Evergreen Park on the 20th. Comer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
