Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington). Everything went their way against the ISBL Austin Waves on Monday as the Lexington Eagles made off with a 17-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for ISBL Austin, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Lexington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-7 win against Varsity Opponent on the 10th. As for ISBL Austin, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
