Football Game Preview: Clinton Red Devils vs. North Central Knights + Official Tickets

The Clinton Red Devils will look to defend their home field on Friday against the North Central Knights at 7:30 p.m. Clinton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Two weeks ago, Clinton really took it to Blacksburg for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-7 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Javen Cook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 142 yards and three scores on only ten carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Clinton also got a significant boost from KJ Vance, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.

Meanwhile, North Central played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Central and fell 42-7. The Knights were down 42-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

North Central's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Clinton, their record now sits at an identical 7-3.
