Basketball Recap: Valley Skates Past El Capitan with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They breezed by the El Capitan Eagles to the tune of 58-29 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Buffalos as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Valley's record is now 4-5. As for El Capitan, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Monument Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. El Capitan also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Rock Point at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Rock Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully El Capitan likes a good challenge.
