Baseball Recap: Alhambra Wins Going Away Against Harbor

Alhambra not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14, 2024. They put the hurt on the Harbor Pirates with a sharp 12-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Ethan Kushner looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Morgan Tran was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Darrian Thornton was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Alhambra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Alhambra now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Harbor, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1.

Alhambra wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-3 win against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 11th. As for Harbor, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against More on the 11th.
