Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buckeye Trail). Everything went their way against the Malvern Hornets on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-1 on Monday.

Buckeye Trail's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14. As for Malvern, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Trail will square off against East Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Malvern, they will challenge Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets are facing the Comets at the right time seeing as the Comets are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
