Basketball Recap: Rothsay Comes Up Short

Rothsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-47 to the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-47 last Thursday.

Rothsay's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Rothsay and Breckenridge will round out the year against one another at at 3:45 p.m. on December 30th. As for Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bagley at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
