IC Catholic Prep lost against Timothy Christian back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Timothy Christian can attribute much of their success to Kate Vogelzang, who had ten digs and one assist.

IC Catholic Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Timothy Christian, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, IC Catholic Prep will square off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Timothy Christian, they will challenge Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
