Volleyball Recap: Lillian Day's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Timber Creek over Hockaday

Timber Creek's tournament run continued when they took on Hockaday on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Daisies by a score of 2-1.

Timber Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Day, who had 18 assists and 13 digs. Another player making a difference was Addison Wilcox, who had 13 digs and five assists.

Timber Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Hockaday, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Timber Creek will be playing at home against Bell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hockaday, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Marcus on the 23rd.
