Ridgefield extended their postseason success on Friday against Ludlowe. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Ridgefield's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Ludlowe, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ridgefield beat the Falcons by a score of 13-0 later that day.
