You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Flomaton on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Excel Panthers out of the water with a 63-28 final score. The Hurricanes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Flomaton found their leader in sophomore Jacie Himes, who posted 24 points. Talaisjah Wesley was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for Flomaton and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Excel, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Miller's defense has only allowed 23.3 points per game this season, so Flomaton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Excel, they will take on Sweet Water at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sweet Water has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
