Basketball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Takes a Loss

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schlarman Hilltoppers. The Buffaloes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hilltoppers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Georgetown-Ridge Farm still got an impressive performance from Jase Latoz, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. What's more, Latoz also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Ajhon Watson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Schlarman, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
