Pawnee City took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Meridian Mustangs 57-6 at home. With the Indians ahead 30-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pawnee City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 165 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
