Volleyball Recap: Plantation Takes a Loss

Plantation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coral Glades Jaguars. If the Colonels were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plantation actually scored more points across those five sets (106-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 6-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Coral Glades, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plantation will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Flanagan at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Coral Glades, they will head out on the road to take on Taravella at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
