Football Recap: Jericho Triumphs

Jericho proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 22) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Valley Stream Central Eagles 21-20.

Jericho's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Valley Stream Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jericho will venture away from home to face off against MacArthur on Saturday. As for Valley Stream Central, they will head out to take on New Hyde Park Memorial at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
