On Monday Carlei Wheeler didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The performance marked the fewest hits Wheeler has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 4.40 over 20.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.457/0.500/0.914 with 21 runs.
