Softball Recap: Martin County Takes a Loss

Martin County fell victim to Perquimans and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Gators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Martin County's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Perquimans, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

As of now, neither Martin County nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
