Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stratford). They blew past RePublic 68-45 on Tuesday. With the Spartans ahead 41-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stratford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Montez Martin, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Buford, who had ten points.
Gracien Niyonzima and Carmontez Williams certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Niyonzima almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards, while Williams went 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points. Dion Garrett was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.
