Volleyball Recap: London Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

London had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Bishop Hartley Hawks, falling 3-0. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.

Sam Webb paced London's offense, picking up seven kills. Webb got some help from Madi Green and her eight assists.

The victory got Bishop Hartley back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, London will head out to face off against North Union at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Hartley, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Westerville Central at 1:30 p.m.
