Soccer Recap: Lake Norman Charter Plays to a Tie + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Lake Norman Charter was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Davie County War Eagles could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Lake Norman Charter's Nico Ferris and Davie County's Hunter Stephens and Kellan Wiles were all carded.

Lake Norman Charter's goal came courtesy of Tripp Burns, which was the first he's scored this season.

Lake Norman Charter's draw gives them a new season record of 2-1-1. As for Davie County, they moved theirs to 0-1-1.
