Soccer Game Preview: Rappahannock County vs. Page County

Rappahannock County is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Page County a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. Rappahannock County will look to defend their home pitch against the Page County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Rappahannock County has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Rappahannock County's offense. They came up short against Central Woodstock last Friday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Rappahannock County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Central Woodstock is ranked 146th).

Meanwhile, Page County can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Luray 2-1.

Page County's win bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Rappahannock County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1.
