Softball Recap: Carver A&T Takes a Loss

Carver A&T was the 11-4 winner over Sparrows Point when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats lost 17-4 to the Pointers on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maya Einolf and Alexis Mihm did some serious damage despite the final result: Einolf went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Mihm went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Carver A&T's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Sparrows Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Carver A&T will square off against Towson on Tuesday. As for Sparrows Point, they will face off against Eastern Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
