Hempstead waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings a 10-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on Monday.

Hempstead's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Decorah-North Winneshiek, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
