Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brody Gibbs stepped things up a notch to give Valley View the 'W'. Gibbs rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 131 yards and one TD. The effort marked the most passing yards he has had since back in September of 2024.

Gibbs and Valley View will take on Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Indians thanks in part to Gibbs: he threw for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes.
