             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Willmar can now relate to. They fell  3-1 to the Marshall Tigers on Wednesday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Willmar started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-21, 25-21,  25-8.
 When it comes to explaining why Willmar lost, don't look at  Hannah Magnuson. Despite the final result, she  had 19  digs. Magnuson has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
 Willmar's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Marshall, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record  this season.
