Volleyball Recap: Fletcher Duffey Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Segerstrom

Ventura not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Segerstrom Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ventura to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fletcher Duffey, who had 21 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Duffey has posted over his last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Theodore Souther-Pasquarella, who had three digs and one block.

Ventura pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Segerstrom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-18.

As of now, neither Ventura nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
