Volleyball Recap: North Haven Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Haven lost against West Haven on September 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Nighthawks lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils.

While North Haven had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Bianca Watts paced North Haven's offense, picking up five kills. Watts got some help from Kailyn Gilmore and her 18 assists. Emerson Rooney controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

North Haven's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for West Haven, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Haven will face off against rival Wilbur Cross at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Haven is set to take on their familiar foe Sacred Heart Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
