Basketball Recap: Greeneview Comes Up Short

Greeneview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-27 loss at the hands of the Fairbanks Panthers. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Greeneview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Fairbanks, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Greeneview has already played their next match (against Southeastern Local), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fairbanks will head out on the road to challenge West Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairbanks knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully West Jefferson likes a good challenge.
