Basketball Recap: Brillion Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Brillion challenged Wrightstown on Tuesday. The Brillion Lions fell just short of the Wrightstown Tigers by a score of 49-46. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Brillion still got an impressive performance from Amaya Brooks, who went 7-for-12 en route to 17 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Brooks is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Camden Hale, who posted ten points.

Brillion's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Wrightstown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Brillion has already played their next match (against New Holstein), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wrightstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
