Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeside Eagles. Riverside were not able to make up for their loss to Lakeside from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Riverside's goal came courtesy of Margaret St. Amand, who's now up to three this season.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Lakeside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Riverside will challenge rival Colville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lakeside is set to square off against their familiar foe Medical Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
