Softball Recap: Prairie Central Takes a Loss

Prairie Central suffered their closest defeat since March 29th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Peoria Notre Dame Irish by a score of 3-1. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie Central saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Galloway, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Prairie Central now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie Central will square off against Rantoul at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will take on Normal Community at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
