Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves vs. Southern Alamance Patriots

The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves will head out to challenge the Southern Alamance Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Ridge has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 13.

Last Friday, Cedar Ridge lost to Person at home by a 56-40 margin. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Red Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Rockets are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Southern Alamance played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Williams, falling 91-46. The Patriots have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Southern Alamance, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Cedar Ridge couldn't quite finish off Southern Alamance in their previous meeting on January 3rd and fell 51-49. Can Cedar Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
