Softball Recap: Blountstown Falls Short of Liberty County in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blountstown can now relate to. They came up short against the Liberty County Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-3 defeat back in March.

Blountstown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalynn Copeland, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Blountstown's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Liberty County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Blountstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-2 victory against Franklin County on the 1st.
